Hand stitched Oak Bark Tanned Sheath.
Each sheath is saddle stitched by the careful hand of leather worker Ed Hames. Saddle stitching ensures a premium sheath construction as the wax stitches can't 'unravel' if accidentally cut. This means the sheath is far more durable to work in the forest whilst still maintaining an aesthetically pleasing heritage finish.
All sheaths are hand made from Oak Bark Tanned Leather, sourced from the last Oak Bark Tannery in the UK, J&FJ Baker located in Colyton, Devon. The same leather is used to craft some of the worlds most expensive and fine leather goods.
